Tester

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a talented individual who can play a vital role in the quality assurance testing for our exciting products. This position will work closely with other QA team members and specifically the QA Manager in the creation and execution of test plans. The person in this role will document problems, report test results, track bug status and communicate general issues to both the QA and Development teams. Applicants must have clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact well with others both interdepartmentally and intradepartmentally.

Abilities:

Exercise great communication skills, as well as be organized and helpful.
Focus on attention to detail.
Self starter with high aptitude for learning and adaptation required.
Positive attitude with excellent cooperation in a strongly team-driven organization.

Professional Requirements:

Associates degree preferred.
Entry level – at least 1 year experience in manufacturing QA or gaming industry preferred.
Passion for video games and industry trends.

Required Technical Skills:

Understand basic computer functionality and commonly used software tools.
Hardware/software installation and configuration experience is preferred.
Knowledge of Bugzilla, Mantis, or ProDG testing suites.
Experience with NetBeans and Perforce.
Familiarity with scripting.
